How a Few Drops Changed My Life!

Not long ago, I was up to my neck in hefty medical bills, sick kids missing school, and wasted days feeling sick and cruddy. I’m not the type of mom who races her kids to the doctor, but on several occasions that’s what we had to do with sick kids who were not getting better. “Flu season” can wipe out a family for weeks, in more ways than one.

Here are six expert-approved ways to relax using breathing techniques borrowed from yoga, meditation, and even the therapist’s chair.

Breathing Basics—The Need-to-Know

Is anyone not busy these days? I’m sure you’re running around, connected 24/7, and short on time. For example, I’m writing this from 35,000 feet, on my way back from a conference at Harvard, where I dedicated some weekend down time to higher learning.

Flat Belly Diet Staple — Sassy Water

You’ve probably heard that you need about eight glasses of water a day for adequate hydration. Drinking water and even eating “watery” foods like melon, greens, and other fruits and vegetables has enormous health benefits, including warding off fatigue. But perhaps the most important belly benefit of proper hydration is how it helps maintain your body’s proper fluid balance and guard against water retention.
